QRShare runs entirely locally on your device. We do not gather, store, or transmit your personal data. The text or URL you input is used exclusively within your browser's runtime environment to draw the QR code. Logo files are processed locally via HTML5 FileReader APIs and are never sent to external servers.
To support the "Recent QR Codes" history tab, selected links are saved in the browser's localStorage (for the web app) or the Chrome Extension's local storage database. You can wipe this history at any time by clearing your browser cache, deleting the local storage values, or uninstalling the extension.
Because QRShare is 100% free and open, we have removed all third-party analytics and payments libraries (including Paddle and ExtPay). No cookies or scripts from external ad-networks or payment portals are loaded when using our generator tool.
