- URLs and Text Data: When you use the extension to generate QR codes, we may access the current tab URL or selected text via Chrome's permissions (activeTab, contextMenus).
- QR Code History: Generated QR codes and their data are stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API.
- Payment Information: If you choose to upgrade to premium features, payment processing is handled by ExtPay. We do not directly collect or store payment information.
How We Use Your Information
- To generate QR codes based on the URLs or text you provide.
- To store QR code history locally for your convenience (premium feature).
- To process payments for premium features through ExtPay.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties, except as described below:
- Paddle Payment: Payment processing for premium upgrades is handled by Paddle Payment. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Data Storage and Security
All QR code data and history are stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage. We do not transmit this data to our servers. Payment data is handled securely by ExtPay.
Your Rights
- You can delete your QR code history at any time by clearing Chrome's local storage for the extension.
- You can uninstall the extension to remove all locally stored data.
